The Moonlight II is arguably the most luxurious yacht available for public hire. An excursion on this hot looking lady is something you will never forget.

The Moonlight II (formerly named the Alysia) is arguably the most luxurious yacht available for public hire. An excursion on it would show you what the true nautical high-life is.

Built in 2005, Moonlight II is an amazing vessel. At 85.3 metres (280 feet), the ship is one of the largest motor yachts available for charter. Onboard, there are five decks and 2,400 square metres (25,833 square feet) for the guests to explore. The uber-luxurious yacht can accommodate 36 guests at a time and has a staff of 34 to meet every need.

Moonlight II has a range of 7,000 nautical miles. You normally find her in the western Mediterranean in the summer, cruising the waters around France and Italy. In the wintertime, she is hanging around Asia and the Maldives. The Moonlight II can cross the Atlantic Ocean, manoeuver through the Panama Canal, and linger around the west coast of the U.S. and Mexico.

The Decks on the Moonlight II

Twenty-one metres (70 feet) up from the sea, the Sun Deck provides privacy, intimacy and spectacular views over your domain. At one end, the heli-pad converts into a circular sunbathing terrace. At the other end, sun beds surround an eight-person Jacuzzi.

The bridge deck features a saloon and multiple seating areas with games and televisions. There are meeting room facilities for those who can’t escape the office. They come equipped with three laptop computers, one desktop unit, Internet and fax connections, a laser printer, and direct dial Satcom.

The upper deck offers a library/cinema with a 100” screen, surround sound, and movie theatre ambiance.

The main deck includes more sitting areas and televisions as well as a saloon and a dining room. The chef and his team serve you 24 hours a day. The 122 square metre (1,313 square feet) master suite on this level has its own private deck area.

The lower deck boasts a health centre with a workout gym, a Jacuzzi, a Roman bath, and separate male and female studios with sauna, steam room, shower, and changing rooms. A hair and nail salon, massage room, treatment room, and two fully qualified beauty therapists are included.

Amenities on Moonlight II

Other amenities on the Moonlight II include:

  • a children’s play area
  • a medical centre with a defibrillator, comprehensive first aid supplies, and a nurse on call at all times
  • a wine cellar with over 500 vintage bottles
  • 24-hour laundry service
  • Bose surround sound music systems throughout the vessel.

If life aboard the ship doesn’t keep you entertained, there are four wave runners and a garage full of other leisure equipment including a fully-equipped diving centre.

Moonlight II Standards

Built to international safety and quality standards (SOLAS), the Moonlight II creators spared no expense on safety. There are monitoring systems throughout the yacht with 24-hour observation on the bridge. The entire vessel is equipped with alarm systems. There is a main central safe and each stateroom is fitted with a digital safe. The underwater surveillance and detection system is monitored around the clock.

The Moonlight II has been built in accordance with zero discharge regulations related to oily water treatment, waste oil, sludge disposal, sewage treatment, galley waste, and garbage treatment.
