Guest :
I noticed that there is no mention for prompts of specific job related fields and I'd like to make a little suggestion for a Writing Prompt for September 11th. It is a topic that I take personally as a professional Emergency Medical Technician and hope that it would be taken into special consideration.
"Ten years marks that tragic day when hundreds of EMS/Fire/Law Enforcement lost their lives at the hands of al-Qaeda in the destruction of the World Trade Center. Since 9-11, a recognizable phrase has been profoundly displayed throughout our country to be forever engraved in our minds and hearts; "Never Forget". Even though the distance of just 2 states away, I personally, will Never Forget the overwhelming pain and helplessness I felt in losing my extended family. I can remember every detail of that day and its continuous trickle affect like an aftershock from a earthquake. What do you remember about this day? How will you "Never Forget"?
In loving memory: FDNY/NYPD-343
